Running a dog day care centre means giving your clients’ dogs a safe, fun and caring place to spend the day. With that comes responsibility, so the right insurance is essential. Our dog day care insurance protects your business, your team and the dogs you look after if the unexpected happens.
Why do dog day care businesses need insurance?
Looking after someone else’s dog is a big responsibility. Accidents and injuries can happen however careful you are. With the right insurance in place, you’re covered if they do, so you can focus on running your business.
Owners want to know their dog is in safe hands too. Insurance shows you’re professional, trustworthy and take their dog’s wellbeing seriously.
Our policies are designed to give you comprehensive protection for your pet care business, including:
Public Liability Insurance
Up to £5m cover for injury or property damage caused while dogs are in your care. It’s a must-have for busy drop-offs and pick-ups.
Care, Custody, and Control of Pets
Up to £2,500 cover per dog for accidents, injuries or unexpected mishaps, even if the dog has its own pet insurance. It helps you deal with emergencies without worrying about vet bills.
Professional Indemnity Insurance
Up to £100,000 if a client claims against you for mistakes, bad advice or a service that causes loss or damage.
Custodial Responsibility
Up to £30,000 towards the cost of defending or settling a negligence claim made against you by your clients.
Does your day care offer dog walking or other off-site activities? We can cover those too? To add them to your policy, give our friendly team a call on 0345 982 5499.
